Attractive, rich, generous, mature taste wine has fine tannins, creamy texture, tones of fruit cake, Christmas pudding, blueberries, spices, pepper and licorice nuances of different length.
Fruity flavor of the wine is filled with notes of dark cherry and plum, hints of fresh red berries. Added complexity bouquet nuances of colors, spices, white chocolate and vanilla.

"Koonung Hill" Shiraz - one of the favorite wine of Shiraz in Australia. To create a wine selected premium grapes from some of the best vineyards in South Australia, but a significant portion of the crop comes from the Barossa Valley, and Kunavorra Padtavey. Relatively early 2009 vintage was formed due to the low rainfall and warm spring weather, contribute to early development and flowering vines. Soft warm weather during the summer helped the fruit to ripen evenly, while the rains at harvest moisture nourished the ground, but did not create any problems. Berries for "Koonunga Hill" Shiraz are selected so as to preserve the continuity of quality, style and philosophy Penfolds, which is to create quality and affordable wines. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 months in old American and French oak barrels. The wine has excellent structure and length and as ready-to-eat at a young age, and to storage for further development in the bottle.
