Tasting Notes


The wine is dark garnet color with purple hues.

Wine "Gevrey-Chambertin" is made ​​from Pinot Noir, which is grown on very rich soils consisting of Triassic limestone, marl, crushed stone, clay, potassium, phosphorus and iron. Robert, himself a native of Vosne-Romanée, began his career in 1948 as an apprentice in the Domaine De La Romanee-Conti. In the 80 years he and his son bought a winery adjacent vineyards in Cote d'Or, which he had planted the idea of ​​the density of 10,000 plants per hectare.
