Interesting Facts

Elegant rosé J.Moreau & Fils, Rose has exquisite taste and perfectly combined with light meals. The grapes for this wine are grown on vineyards in the Loire Valley and the south of France. Fermentation is carried out under strictly controlled temperature. Aged wine in stainless steel tanks.

In 1814, a young Cooper Jean-Joseph Moreau married the daughter of the local wineries and decided to open a store in the Chablis. This was the beginning of the house Moreau. For two hundred years, the company is a benchmark not only among producers of Chablis, but also outside the region. Since 1920 J.Moreau & Fils began to export its wines internationally. To date, the winery is working with 50 winegrowers, taking control of all the processes of viticulture: site selection, care of the vines, selecting and harvesting. The company offers a wide range of wines from different regions of France - Burgundy, the Rhone Valley and the Loire, Languedoc. In 1997, the company buys winery Boisset, a member of the "Family of Great Wines" (FGV). In 2006 the company produced Zh.Moro & Fils qualitative renewal of the brand, which was enthusiastically accepted in the international press. Changes naturally touched the logo and labels that have always been important to brand recognition. J.Moreau & Fils wines are represented in more than 80 countries and served in the most prestigious restaurants. Every year they win a number of prizes and awards in international competitions.

Boisset family business began in 1961 when the parents of the current owner Jean-Charles Boisset founded the winery in Burgundy - known far beyond the French wine region. Jean-Charles Boisset was born in the village of Vougeot in the land of Burgundy. Since childhood, he was surrounded by centuries-old vineyards and old wine cellars of the castle Clos Vougeot. Love for his native land and the vine Jean-Charles inherited from parents, and winemaking became his life's passion. Currently Boisset Family Estates owns twenty old farm located in the south of France, Beaujolais, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley. The company also owns wineries in Canada and the United States (California). Boisset Family Estates owners pay great attention to style and quality of their products and are strong supporters of organic and biodynamic winemaking.
