At the end of the XIX century, almost every major city in Germany had its own brewery. In 1899, entrepreneur Adolf Denninghoff decided to build in the city of Giessen modern brewery. Construction of the plant based on the highest industrial technology of the time allowed the company to avoid almost a century reconstructions. Only in 1978 for Giessen brewery was built a new building, including not only industrial complex, but modern laboratory. The desire to keep up with the times and meet all the needs of lovers of beer brewery prompted a significant expansion of the range. If earlier Giessen specialized only in a wheat beer and seasonal doppelbocks, today the descendants of Adolf Denninghoffa implement new ideas, producing along with a wide range of traditional varieties of beer mixes and non-alcoholic beer.
