Tasting Notes


The color of wine - dark ruby.


The wine is balanced, bright, concentrated flavor with hints of ripe fruit and berries, nuances of cherry, pomegranate, and wood accents and fine-grained tannins.


Wine has a rich fruity aroma, expressive drop-down shades of cherry and raspberry. Light nuances of herbs, bushes, flowers of the earth give special complexity and diversity.


Wine best enjoyed with grilled red meat, venison or meat cooked on the grill.

Monthelie 1-er Cru "Les Duresses" - dry red wine created from Pinot Noir grown in appellasone Montli. Appellasona territory extends to 450 acres between Volnay and Meursault. The name "Montli" was given appellasonu located here because of the eponymous village, numbering about 300 inhabitants.
