Domain Francois Mikulski - relatively young winery Burgundy. Its history began in 1992 when Francois Mikulski and his wife Marie-Pierre decided to do wine, leaving it not only all their time and energy, but also attached to this all their financial capabilities. Francois has Polish roots - his father in 1939, he emigrated from Poland to England. Later he settled in Dijon (France), where, in fact, born Francois. After his studies and military service, the young Francois went to California to comprehend the wisdom of art of winemaking. Back in Burgundy, he decided to start his own business and set up their own winery.
Domain François Mikulski vineyards are located on 8.6 hectares, most of which is in appellasone Meursault. In its activities, the company professes the idea of "purism", provides for a minimum intervention in the vegetation of grapes. To fertilize the vines are used exclusively organic substances and remedies are used minimally, only in necessary amounts to achieve the goal. Mikulski wine is sometimes called "modernist", they do not look like traditional Burgundian.
