"Feudo Monaci" Negroamaro, 2012 - red dry wine from grapes Negramaro grown in areas with a fairly dry soil containing limestone, clay and silica. Vintage 2012 began to gather in the middle of September, early in the morning to avoid premature oxidation of berries under the influence of the sun and heat. After collecting the harvest was immediately taken to the winery cellars and subjected to soft pressing procedure. Fermentation and maceration of ten-were carried out at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks until June of 2013. Wine has a storage capacity for 5 years.
Possession Castello Monachil are located in the region of Puglia, Salento. Wines Castello Monachil, generated from a unique, local, traditional Southern Italian grape varieties Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, no doubt, are the standard of the area. The winery produces two lines of wines: "Castello Monachil" and "Feudo Monachil."
