Sauvignon Blanc from which the wine is made "Aconcagua Costa" Sauvignon Blanc, collected from sites located in the valley of Casablanca. The valley is only a few kilometers from the coast of the Pacific Ocean. The influence of the oceanic climate causes a steady temperature conditions throughout the season, allowing the fruit to ripen evenly and in time. The proximity of the ocean and gives a good level of acidity of the grapes and fruity aroma. Climatic features of Casablanca Valley with rainy winters and moderately warm summers with misty mornings and afternoon fresh breezes make it a privileged terrain for grades who love cool, such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Vineyards were planted farms Errazuriz French and American clones of Sauvignon Blanc in 1992. With nearby streams, soil composition is formed from clay loam, silt and small stones. Vines are fixed on the vertical arrays and connected to the drip irrigation system.
Crop for the production of "Aconcagua Costa" Sauvignon Blanc collected by hand in the morning, put in small boxes and carefully transported to the cellar where the grapes were released from the peduncle, and sent a gentle press. To preserve the fresh fruit of the future wine, the must is fermented in stainless steel tankers at a controlled temperature of 12-15ºC. The fermentation culture was induced special yeast capable of developing aromatic bouquet at low temperatures. Each stage of the winemaking is under strict control, which avoids contact with the oxygen of must. The wine is aged on the lees for three months for the development of soft, velvety texture and fullness of the body of wine.

And I must say that this goal is realized perfectly without any marketing moves that are just not necessary - because quality wines Errazuris speaks for itself. For example, in a blind tasting in Berlin in January 2004 elite wine farm - "Vinedo Chadwick" in 2000 - a convincing victory such wines vintage 2000, as "Chateau Margaux", "Château Lafite Rothschild," "Chateau Latour," "Sassicaia" and many others. And this is not an isolated success! He also repeated several times during the tastings conducted by professionals with a worldwide reputation.
