"Kermessa" - one of the best red wines wines Elena Walch, referring to the lineup Grand Cuvee. It is produced only in the best harvest years, and it includes a blend of grape varieties such as Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Lagreyn taken in approximately equal proportions. Their fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and takes 10 days, after which the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, half of which - new. The wine is then connected to the Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 2 months in steel tanks, bottled and matures further 6 months in the cellars of the winery.
Elegant wine "Kermesse" has great finesse and great potential for storage, it will develop in the bottle until 2022.

Elena Walch, being an architect, first became involved in winemaking after meeting with her husband Werner Walch, who is a representative of one of the oldest wine producing dynasties. However, unlike her husband, she has a more modern approach to winemaking and sees his task in the creation of high-quality, modern wines - strong, deep and complex. The first thing that made Elena after the acquisition of two magnificent estates of Castel Ringberg and Kastelats - it revolutionized the vineyards.
