Domaine du Salvard, Cheverny AOC - elegant, classic white wine with a refreshing taste and pleasant aroma, showing exquisite balance the roundness of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay brightness. Vineyard, where the crop is grown for wine making, is located in the Loire Valley in the sand and limestone soils. Age of vines is 10-65 years. After harvesting the berries gently compressed under pneumatic pressure obtained the must settles 48 hours. Wine is fermented for 12 days, then left to mature in stainless steel tanks for a period of about a year.
Vineyards Domain du Salwar there since 1898 and belong to the family of Emmanuel & Thierry Delaille. This successful venture led by Herbert does and his two sons - Emmanuel and Thierry to do. They continue the tradition of their ancestors, producing these classic wines, elegant and simple at the same time. The total area of vineyards Domaine du Salvard is 42 hectares. The farm is cultivated grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gamay and Pinot Noir. Family businesses use traditional methods of winemaking. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. White varieties of grapes are pressed only after a short maceration of the skin.
