The domain is very cozy old building, which preserved the cellar with thick walls, a spiral staircase and a bread oven. Since the XIX to the beginning of XX century generation of winemakers have followed one after another. The economy has experienced the invasion of phylloxera and the birth of the first Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée in 1929, recognized by decree in 1935. Initially, most of the area was planted with vineyards, cherry and olive trees, and over the years it has evolved into the present winery, covering 46 hectares, and since 1985 is in the professional hands of Patrick pulp.
Today the products Domaine des Chanssaud gained recognition as the historic homeland and beyond.
