Wine is an attractive ruby-cherry color.
The wine shows a generous, luxurious taste with silky texture, notes of red fruits, blackberry and spice, soft tannins and a long, intriguing aftertaste.
The wine seduces rich, complex flavor, which, like a symphony, interwoven notes of ripe fruit, truffle and leather, complemented by peppery and spicy nuances.
The wine will be perfectly combined with dishes of different kinds of meat, poultry, veal, lamb, pork and cheese.

The domain is very cozy old building, which preserved the cellar with thick walls, a spiral staircase and a bread oven. Since the XIX to the beginning of XX century generation of winemakers have followed one after another. The economy has experienced the invasion of phylloxera and the birth of the first Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée in 1929, recognized by decree in 1935. Initially, most of the area was planted with vineyards, cherry and olive trees, and over the years it has evolved into the present winery, covering 46 hectares, and since 1985 is in the professional hands of Patrick pulp.
Today the products Domaine des Chanssaud gained recognition as the historic homeland and beyond.
