In 1967, after serving in the army Aimé Sabon received vineyards from his father, who gave yields a wine cooperative, and by his stepfather, who sold wine negociant. In 1973, Aimé built his own wine cellar. Thus was created Domaine de la Janasse, named after the family farm located in Courthézon, in a place called "La Janasse".
