Producer's description

Guy Bossard has always lived in harmony with nature. As a child, he had wanted to become a winemaker like his father and grandfather. Since 1970, after the "arrival" of chemical fertilizers and herbicides, many wineries began to use them in the vineyards. The first results were stunning, but no one at that time did not think about the consequences. Winery Bossard had used organic fertilizers. In 1972, on returning from military service, Guy decides to deal with chemical fertilizers and began to use in biodynamic methods. Despite the skeptical environment, he decided in that whatever was to receive organic certification and achieved his goal. In 1975, Guy received organic certification, and in 1998 - Biodynamic (Demeter).

Fred Niger, who has studied private law and criminology, was going to become a lawyer. Upon his return from military service, he created a web hosting company, but soon sold it and went back to school to realize his dream and become a winegrower. Fred joined Guy and now they work together to create organic wines that can captivate its charm from the first seconds.

Winery Domaine de l'Ecu is located in the town of Le Landreau in Brittany on the Atlantic coast of France. Vineyards cover an area of ​​42 acres. Wines of Domaine de l'Ekyu considered to be the best wines of the Loire Valley.
