Tasting Notes


The wine is yellow-gold color.


The taste of the wine is soft and courteous, offering a well-integrated tone butterscotch, lemon pie, apples, hints of clove, vanilla and oak. Lingering aftertaste decorated with notes of citrus fruits.

The current owner of Domaine Jean Chartron - Jean-Michel Chartrons is a member of the fifth generation of the famous Burgundy wine dynasty. The domain was founded in 1859 by great-grandfather, Jean-Michel named Jean-Edouard Dyupard, who was involved in winemaking and cooperage. Since the 80s, Jean Chartrons abandoned the use of chemical fertilizers, and his son continues to adhere to organic methods in growing grapes.
