Domaine Cazes estate is located between the Mediterranean Sea and Perineyami in Rivesaltes - the heart of Roussillon. It was founded in 1895 by Michel Kaz, who was engaged in the cultivation of grapes for sale. In 1927, the son of Michel persuaded his father to buy a small vineyard Mas Joffre area of 8 hectares, which was the impetus for the further expansion of the area of farms. Already in 1950, the area of land reached 40 hectares. In 1971, the younger brother of Bernard received a ethnologist in Bordeaux University, where he studied modern methods of winemaking technology. His contribution to the family business is difficult to overestimate. Today the vineyards are cultivated farms Syrah, Carignan and Murveder that are used for the production of red wines.
