Wine "Closerie Mazeyres" made from Merlot grapes grown in the vineyards of Chateau Klozri Mazières in Pomerol. The wine is fermented in 70 gektolitrovyh wooden vats and then aged for 18-22 months in new oak barrels. Fine wine "Klozri Mazières" can be drunk young, as well as to store for a decade or more, with the result that it only improves their performance.
Chateau Klozri Mazières acquired ownership in 2000. Clement Fayat - known construction tycoon, who also owns Château la Dominique in St. Emilion. Vineyards with a total area of 9 hectares are located on sandy soils, which is typical for all the great wines of Pomerol. In the vineyards Closerie Mazeyres mainly grown Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
