Exquisite dry white wine from Christian Moreau Chablis is famous for its immaculate purity of flavor and taste. Chablis region is in the north of France, in the municipality of Parga, age of vines on land owned by the family of Moro, on average 47 years old. The soil in these areas contains clay and limestone that serves as an excellent basis for the balance of minerality and fresh acidity wines. Chablis wine is made in a style that is very different from the other wines of Burgundy. It is dry, fresh and, unlike typical Burgundian wines, more free from the influence of oak wood. So, the whole process of winemaking from Christian Moreau Chablis conducted in steel tanks. After fermentation at a controlled temperature of the wine is aged on fine lees for 10 months.
Producer Christian Moreau is a descendant of Jean-Joseph Moreau, who in 1814 started the winery in Chablis. In 1974, the Canadian company "Hiram Walker" became the owner of 50% of the winery, completed the purchase of the entire economy in 1985. Then the winery passed into the possession of Burgundy holding "Domain Boisset." Christian Moreau worked in the economy as a winemaker and was known as the creator of unrivaled wines. But in 1997 he had to leave a job due to radical innovation in the enterprise. After lengthy litigation, family Moreau has made restoration of the right of ownership of the family vineyards, regaining its former glory.
Wine brand Christian Moreau wines are world class, as evidenced by the highest awards and ratings authoritative critics.
