Sangiovese was going to last and, due to sudden changes in temperature between day and night in the month of September, managed to develop a great aroma and color saturation. The results of the harvest of Sangiovese 2008 were evaluated excellent. Throughout the harvest was great weather, so the grapes arrived in the cellars perfectly healthy and mature. Fermentation lasted 8-10 days in stainless steel tanks and large oak barrels at 24-28 ° C.

 

Ricasoli family has ancient roots and is the fourth oldest in the world of family businesses. It is also the oldest company in Italy, the family owns the castle Ricasoli Castello di Brolio with 1141.
