Wine Chateau La Croix de Gay, Pomerol AOC, 2007
Wine beautiful deep purple color.
Rounded fleshy taste of wine filled with notes of ripe red and black fruit, which are dominant in the bouquet. They are complemented by elegant velvety tannins, hints of leather, chocolate and warm wood and fragrant aftertaste.
The aromatic composition of wine is a real firework of juicy shades of black currant, blackberry, plum, raspberry with a light veil of violet flowers, spices and espresso.
The wine goes well with both the refined French cuisine, such as foie gras, truffles, white veal, as well as more simple dishes of Spanish and Italian food: pasta, hot Neapolitan, chicken in sherry in Spanish and others. As appetizers ideal Gorgonzola and other blue cheeses, as well as Parma ham prosciutto.
Today, Chateau La Croix de Gay belongs to Dr. Alain Raynaud. Production management is a huge success and popularity not only in France but also far beyond its borders.
