Tasting Notes


The wine is a brilliant straw color with golden highlights.


Lively, crisp taste of the wine is rich hues of lychee, peach, white grapefruit, woven with light nuances of spices. Elegant, fresh aftertaste has a good balance and length.

Producer's description

Chateau Goudichaud has a long history. Built in 1780 by architect Victor Louis, it has for several decades been the summer residence of the Archbishop of Bordeaux. Outbuildings and accommodations form a single architectural ensemble. The estate covers 120 hectares, which includes 50 hectares of vineyards, 40 hectares of forest and meadows. The variety of soils terroir Graves de Vayres is one of the advantages of Chateau Gudisho. On the clay-limestone gravel soils cultivated varieties intended for red and white wines.
