Wine Charles Thomas, Pouilly-Fuisse is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyards of the region of Macon in southern Burgundy. Fuisse word comes from the German presumably faite ("upper"). The vineyards are planted on the hills on limestone soils rich in clay, granite subsoil. Vintage 2010 - soft and elegant, fruity wine with lively aroma and light mineral notes in the long aftertaste.
