Wine Chablis AOC Les Deux Rives 2005
Straw yellow with pale golden hue. Surprisingly clean and clear as cool spring water.
The taste is replete with citrus fruit, with a delightful tartness of fresh apple. Long aftertaste.
Fragrant aroma of baking, as in the confectionery and fresh apples. Smell the aromas of dried straw, and there are quite unexpected notes of citrus and peach. The aroma of wine in 2005 stronger than its predecessors.
The wine is perfectly combined with meat turkey or chicken, as well as salmon and crabs.
The wine is a blend of grapes harvested on both banks of the river Serein: Vineyard Vayon on the left side and the right Fourche. Hence the name "Les Deux Rives", which means "two banks". Age of majority vines more than 30 years, the harvest is going entirely by hand. Parent household purchase this wine, but to be sure of the quality of its assembly, Leflaive each year sends back its harvesters. On rigorous quality control and a unique microclimate and success is based Chablis. It is this blend is considered a reflection of the character and mood of the terroir. For the first acquaintance with Chablis better option is simply not to find. This wine is able to bewitch to her forever. Recommened to the discovery in 2010-2011.
