Delicious wine "Ca 'Florian" come from the most prestigious vineyard Amarone della Valpolicella zone Classico. The wine is named after the vineyard Ca 'Florian (municipality of San Pietro), in which grow the choicest vines Corvina, Rondinella and Korvinone an average age of 20 years to create this magnificent wine. The vineyard is one of the oldest and is located close to the house where once lived the company's founder - Giacomo Tommasi. Crop is harvested by hand in early October, grapes put in trays 5-6 kg, in which it is dried for four months on the spacious attic. This is followed by a delicate pressing of grapes and fermentation on skins in wooden vats, which lasts 30 days. The wine is kept in the year 500-liter barrels and three years in Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling the wine matures for another year in the bottle. Such a slow shutter speed gives the full right to give the blame mark Riserva.
The 2007 season in the vineyard Ca 'Florian characterized by mild winters, hot spring and low precipitation. These conditions, as well as a large range of day and night temperatures created favorable conditions for ripening early and particularly successful harvest. For this reason, vintage 2007 was rated "very good" (5 stars). Official presentation of the wine "Ka'Florian" took place during specially organized for the occasion in the evening in a cafe "Dante Ristoratore" in Verona.
Family group Tomazzi Vitikoltori was founded in 1902, when Giacomo Tommasi purchased his first vineyard. Over a century of history from a small family business company has evolved into a major producer, owns 135 acres of excellent land in the best wine region of Italy - Veneto.
