Tasting Notes
The wine is dark ruby color.
In a balanced taste of wine full of elegant fruit tones, rounded tannins. The finish is long and soft.
The aroma of wine bunch of shades of spices, wild berries and ripe fruit.
The wine goes well with Tuscan salami, pasta dishes with sauce, red meat, grilled veal and beef.
Interesting Facts
Winery "Casanova di Neri" was founded in 1971 when Giovanni Neri bought a large estate in Montalcino, in an area famous for excellent conditions for growing grapes and creating great wines. The estate belonged to 35 hectares of vineyards. Gradually Giovanni Neri join him and other lands, so today the winery has a total of about 60 hectares, which are divided into four vineyard: "Petradoniche", which is located in Castelnuovo del Abate, "Le Cetin" in Sant'Angelo in Colle, "Cherretalto" and "Fiesole" to the east, near the farm, in front of Montalcino. Which lie on different slopes of Montalcino vineyards are influenced by the radical differences in the soil, microclimate, environment, flora. Each wine "Casanova di Neri" reflects these differences and has an individual character and a consistently high quality.
