The 2004 season was remembered moderate and harmonious climate. The beginning of summer was dry and warm, but August was rainy. Because of this the grapes had to mature and gain sweetness. In order to reach full maturity, champagne matured for over 8 years in the basement of Bruno Paillard at constant humidity and temperature. After reaching the required taste, champagne is bottled and aged for at least 6 months in the cellar.
