The wine is a brilliant straw-yellow color.
The wine has a clean, soft, balanced taste, persistent and elegant at the same time. On the palate there is a pleasant minerality, and closer to the finale - a refreshing acidity that gives the wine a special liveliness. The finish is long, persistent.
Fresh, distinctive aroma of the wine captivates with bright shades of exotic fruits, pineapple, banana, lemon.
The wine is an excellent aperitif, also goes well with fresh cheese, fish dishes, risotto and roasted vegetables.
Grape varieties Chardonnay (100%), used to create a wine growing region on the slopes of the hills of Collio, in the extreme north-east of Italy. Soil and climate are ideal for field cultivation of white grape varieties. The vines grow at an altitude of 600-700 meters above sea level, the stocking density of 5,500 plants per hectare. Soils of vineyards consist of marl with layers of sandstone. The grapes are harvested by hand and sent to the winery. Some grapes are fermented in stainless steel and 30% is fermented and aged in a 500-liter oak casks. Aged in oak barrels gives the wine more aromatic complexity with hints of banana and pineapple. Developing in the bottle, the wine takes on a pleasant softness, sweetness and good structure.
Today, the company Branko owns 6 hectares of vineyards, which are located at an altitude of 350-400 meters above sea level. The cultivation of grapes and wine production is carried out with great care and attention to detail, and the result of this hard work is a well balanced, elegant wine with great complexity and character. Recently, the wine cellar has been completely redesigned and equipped with the best modern facilities. After bottling, the wine rests in termokonditsionirovannyh halls under the earth, where it is developing harmoniously in the medium and long term. The company produces the white wine Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Friulano, Capo Branco and one red wine, which consists of a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Branko philosophy throughout his activities remains unchanged: the wine is born in the vineyard and in the winery, it only multiplies the qualities that gave nature.
