The taste of wine is clean, soft, fruity, with a rounded, well-integrated tannins and a smooth texture, excellent balance of sweetness and acidity, with a spicy and long aftertaste.

Vintage 2011 manufacturer calls a "very good". Warm and sunny spring caused early flowering vines. The summer was very hot, because of what has been lost 10-20% of the crop. But the rains in late August were very helpful and helped to slow the rapid maturation of the grapes. Thanks to the warm and sunny September with cool nights, winemakers could constantly monitor the acidity and sweetness of the grapes. Berries have acquired an excellent sweetness, excellent level of acidity and complex rich bouquet. Ripasso wine made from a blend of grape varieties Corvina and Rondinella, grown on the beautiful vineyards of the Veneto region. In the manufacture of wine used technique "Ripasso", in which the fermentation is carried out two: the first takes place after the harvest in October in steel vats and lasts for three weeks; secondary, so-called "Ripasso", made in March on pulp of dried grapes (wine of Amarone and Recioto). Then the wine is aged 15 months in barrels of Slavonian oak.
Wine Bertani, Ripasso 2011 for its excellent taste and affordability awarded a gold medal at the international competition "Mundus Vini" in 2013 year and a bronze medal at the international competition "Decanter World Wine Awards" in 2014.
Bertani winery was founded in the middle of the XIX century in the small town of Quinto di Valpantena in the north of Verona Bertani two brothers - Giovanni Battista and Gaetano. Way brothers in the world of wine began with an introduction by Mr. Guillot - a prominent figure in the wine industry at the time. Since its inception, the brothers Bertani used innovative techniques in the cultivation and processing of crops, using new technology vinification and cultivation. Through nearly 30 years since the founding of the winery Bertani in 1888. The Academy of Agriculture, Arts and Commerce in the city of Verona, studying the works of the brothers in terms of scientific and practical approach, awarded them a special gold award. Since then, the winery has become the benchmark Bertani family and commercial winemaking in Verona. To this day, Bertani take part in various competitions and exhibitions, develop new technologies, not resting on its laurels and strive for perfection. Possession Bertani today - it's 130 acres of land owned by the family around the historic villa of the XVIII century. Cellar and winery are located in the cozy town Grezzano.
