Beringer winery, founded in 1876, is the oldest operating winery in the Napa Valley. The winery is one of the first in California began to organize tours for visitors after the repeal of Prohibition, used to attract the attention of leaflets with the words: "All roads lead to Beringer." Jacob Beringer left his home in Germany in 1868 for the sunny coast of California, where the soil and climate is perfect for growing grapes.
