The history of beer Beck's began in 1873 in Bremen. It was then that the brewery Kaiser-Brauerei Beck & May brewer Heinrich Beck created the beer, which today bears his name. By next year, the beer was awarded by the future Emperor Frederick III first gold medal at the international agricultural exhibition in Bremen, and in 1876 it was noted at the World Exhibition in Philadelphia as the best beer in Europe. Until now, the image of these two medals, as well as the key to the home town of Bremen are shown on the label beer. In 1921 the brewery was renamed in Beck & Co and have been producing beer for export only. In Germany, beer "Beck's" appeared only in 1949. Currently, "Beck's" sell in more than 125 countries and its sales are growing continuously. Since 2002, the brand belongs to the largest beer concern Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).
