Wine of deep ruby red color.
The wine has an elegant, robust, velvety taste with a good structure, sweet tannins and spicy, long finish with notes of licorice.
The wine has a complex aroma with notes of ripe red berries (especially cherries), spices, notes of licorice and hints of myrtle.
The wine goes well with meat dishes (beef, mutton, poultry): for example, venison steak, roast goose, beef spicy pizza or risotto with mushrooms sauce (cheese or with truffles).
