Galileo - a big administrative, as well as the famous wine-growing region in northern Israel. Even in Biblical writings mention the region where Jesus turns water into wine at the wedding at Cana. From here originates the origins of winemaking. The entire territory of the region is divided into three zones: the Upper Galilee, Lower Galilee and the Judean Hills. This last area is one of the most interesting, as it takes up a significant part of the north-east of Israel, offering a large selection of winemakers great terroirs. Among the various types of soils predominate gravel, limestone and mineral-rich basalt deposits. The height of the Judean Hills reaches 450 meters above sea level, so here cool climate and relatively high rainfall. Good moisture contributes to the creation of atypical fresh and bright wine.
