Antonin Rodet, Pommard, 2011 is the Côte de Beaune and Pommard appellason. Father Antoine, Francois, was a grocer in Chalon-sur-Saone (an important center of trade in wine), as well as capable businessman. In the XIX century in the city built a railroad, river transport appeared. This produced a real economic boom in Chalon-sur-Saone, and because of that young Antoine first learned about business and business relations.
When Antoine Rode married Marie-Francoise Adeno - a girl from a family of farmers, he took control of significant land resources, which provided the basis for his new business and played a very important role in shaping the future of their own winery. Antoine worked on the farm day and night tirelessly to achieve the desired. He put all their money into the vineyard, despite the crisis and the invasion of phylloxera that engulfed the vineyards of Burgundy. In subsequent years, the legacy continues to grow Rodet, wine house blooms and significantly expanded.

Antonaves Rode - son Antoine - at age 25 became the head of the family business, taking over his father's innovative concept and strengthened the position of the House at the international level.
