Interesting Facts
Try the excellent wine "Beyond se Klauds" 2009, made of several classic South Tyrol grapes. Dominates the blend of Chardonnay, harvested at the peak of ripeness, and the rest of the class, the composition of which is kept secret, have a higher acidity and make the perfect pair of Chardonnay. Fermentation of wine is carried out in French oak barrels, which provides a balanced wine. Elena Walch The company was founded in 1985 and is one of the youngest in the region of Alto Adige. Elena Walch, being an architect, first became involved in winemaking after meeting with her husband Werner Walch, who is a representative of one of the oldest wine dynasties. However, in contrast to the spouse, she has a more modern approach to winemaking and sees his task in the creation of high-quality, modern wines - strong, deep and complex. The first thing that made Elena after the acquisition of two magnificent estates of Castel Ringberg and Kastelats - it revolutionized the vineyards. Here, on the steep southern slopes of Tramin, new vines were planted by local and international grape varieties that give very low, but high yields.
