Pinot Gris Vendanges Tardives Grand Cru "Sommerberg" - a complex, concentrated wine with great taste and rich sweet flavor. Sommerberg vineyard grapes are grown for varietal wines - Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Riesling. Zommerberg - vineyard, known since the beginning of XI century - is located on the eastern slopes of the granite mountains of the Vosges, where the upper soil layers contain a high proportion of granite sand and rich in minerals. Sommerberg is one of the driest vineyards in Alsace. This is not surprising, as the area has a continental climate type, characterized by particularly low rainfall, dry and warm summers and fairly cold winters, and the mountains provide protection from the prevailing westerly winds.

Jean Boksler very carefully refers to the vineyards and vines growing with organic methods. His favorite variety is Riesling with great texture and fragrant Pinot Gris. Boksler annually produces about 5,000 bottles. Magazine "France Magazine, 2007" wrote about the wines Albert Boxler, that "it is one of the most interesting wines of Alsace exclusively from grapes from their own vineyards. All Rieslings Bokslera very intense in flavor and structured, with an abundance of fine acidity."
Jean Boksler himself says: "My fault - not a classic and modern. My style - natural. Nature makes the wine, not me. We do not cater to customers, we work with the earth and care about its safety. It is an old tradition in our home."
