Tim Adams The Aberfeldy Shiraz is made from a century vine growing on a unique in its composition vineyard Aberfeldy (loose red loamy soil placed over a layer of limestone), which is located at the most eastern hills Valley Clare Valley, five kilometers from the town of Clare. The vineyard was founded in 1904, many of the first vines still exist, and the dead vines were replaced with the same clones. Yields in this vineyard does not rise above 1.5 tons per acre, which allows to obtain grapes with intense color, flavor and tannins.
Grapes are crushed and fermented to "dry" with the skins for three weeks, and then it is drained. Aberfeldy Shiraz matured in oak barrels for 24 months, the US, then it is mixed, purified, filtered and bottled. The wine is sealed with a plug Stelvin Lux, which ensures its freshness and authenticity.
TimAdams Aberfeldy Shiraz has an elegant fruit flavors interwoven with oak, balanced tannins and acidity, has great potential for storage and adequately take its place in the collection of true connoisseurs of wine.
